On Wednesday 12 February at 8.00pm (AEDT) I’ll be chairing the webinar launch of the new 5 Islands Press title The Making of a Poem. The book comprises eleven interviews with leading Australian poets by Rosanna McGlone. It’s a truly fascinating read that includes copies of early drafts and completed poems from each of the poets.
I’m looking forward to speaking to Rosanna and many of the poets involved in the book, including Anthony Lawrence, Judith Nangala Crispin, Judith Beveridge, Jaya Savige, Mark Tredinnick and Audrey Molloy. We’ll also be joined by winner of the King’s Gold Medal for Poetry, UK poet George Szirtes.
