Red Room's Poetry Month

Earlier this year I was really excited to learn that I'd been shortlisted for the 2021 Red Room Poetry Fellowship. It was the first time I'd been shortlisted for anything at all and my fellow shortlistees were quite soberingly accomplished, so I was pretty chuffed. The deserving 2021 Fellow is Ellen Van Neerven. Part of the shortlisting involved a commissioned poem that will be published during Red Room's Poetry Month (August) and an accompanying recording of me reading it.

I'll share both here when they're posted.

Be sure to check out the huge lineup of poets and poetry-lovers Red Room have crammed into the month of August. It'll be big!
